CFOA 2023 PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Welcome to the 2023 football season!
On behalf of the CFOA Executive council we welcome the return of veteran officials and our coveted new members. We are looking forward to another successful season of instruction as well as field officiating. This season we will be in our 2nd year of a 3-year fee increase.
We encourage every official to work hard and do your best to show how valuable an asset we are to High School football in the CIFSS. As you know we have been asked to help get Girl’s flag football of the ground by providing officials in their inaugural season, Good Luck to the Girl’s!
Our mission this year is focused on recruitment and retention. Our Pres. Elect. Art Andrade chairs this committee and is working very hard through various means to get the word out that we need officials, and this should be the goal of every unit. Thank You Art!
We also have new faces this year as the board of directors has appointed Greg Truex as the Instructional chairman and Ken Ay as the Sec/Treas. Thanks to both of you for stepping up! Elections for these positions will be in accordance with our by-laws. Please keep Bob (Speedy) Mc Queen in your thoughts and prayers as he battles his illness.
